of personal or professional failure? I'll just say that my experience as an
"internal" change person for many years is that risk-taking is essential for
personal and organizational learning, which I'm sure you know. And I'm wondering
why folks who have found freedom in opening up space would be reluctant to take
some risks in helping light the way for others. Yet, I am but a bystander here
(among the OS gurus), and do not mean to question others' motives or courage.

who has been (and is) in a couple of those organizations Tennyson
mentions....and struggles with finding a way to open the space, I'd hope that
when you get a call from me, or another explorer, you'll be open to going in
there and doing what you can. Most organizations have some folk who want to
move toward better space; sometimes they're fortunate enough to be in a space
where they can assert a little leadership to start down that path. But it is a
dimly lit path and many of their colleagues will discourage them. Those who've
been down it must come back and light the way, offering guidance and
reassurance to the newbies. <o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P></DIV>
