one thing ted left out of the opening query here is that one organization might be feeling skittish about being lumped into something else.  it's new enough that it wants to find its own shape before it dissolves or connects with other structures.  fair enough.

if, like in this case, there isn't common language for writing an single invitation, then that just becomes part of the task/purpose for the meeting itself.  having various groups come for different invites/purposes seems like real trouble.
