I am reminded of the parable of the sower by Jesus of Nazareth (Mark 3-8). Particularly verse 6: "when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away". In verses 14-20 he interprets the parable. It's worth reading and pondering. What does it mean "to have real roots" in OS? Or, in the Practice of Peace, for that matter? <BR>

facilitating the sower in seedtime<BR>
I would encourage him<BR>
to sow in abundance<BR>
not worreing about the lost<BR>
of more or less of the seed<BR>
because abundance needs lost<BR>
who knows for what may serve<BR>
the so called lost, the break, the void<BR>
the silence, the unintended --<BR>
perhaps it´s just the space in need<BR>
for birds (looking for seed)<BR>
(and buzzards and bats) <BR>
moving in the flow<BR>
without any roots.<BR>
<BR>
the lost is never in vain<BR>
the lost is part of the crop<BR>
the robust is partner of the weak<BR>
over is the end of not-over<BR>
not-over is the beginning of over<BR>
<BR>
let us invite mark<BR>
to tell us once more the parable<BR>
after so many time<BR>
perhaps in another way<BR>
having listened as a lurker sometimes<BR>
the discussion on the OS-list.<BR>
