about viruses in organizations is one that Systems Theory, as treated by Murray
Bowen, Edwin Friedman, and Peter Steinke, addresses. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

is to work on the system’s “immune system”. This is the
leadership of the system. If they manage/control/limit their own reactivity to
perverse stimuli the larger system will not react either. That is, the “virus”
will not be able to infect or replicate.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

is to expel the “virus”. There are a number of techniques for doing
that kindly, but obviously, this is a drastic measure, since there is always a
possibility that this “virus” contains the only truly sane or
healthy DNA in the system. As in, what if there had not been a “Deep
Throat”?<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
