a Registrar is someone who is in charge of incoming payments and
registrations.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'> </span>In this instance it will
need to be someone good with numbers and with details and with ongoing
communication.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'> </span>You will need to track
who has paid and who is coming and keep Janet and the team informed on an
ongoing basis (as registration affects food, accommodation and materials
decisions, informs Access Queen who is paying for some Askers, and so on). You
will be the person processing the payments for us, answering questions about
payment and sending registered <span class=GramE>participants</span> receipts
and perhaps even some final details on their attendance at the gathering. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face="Trebuchet MS"><span style='font-size:
10.0pt;font-family:"Trebuchet MS"'><o:p> </o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face="Trebuchet MS"><span style='font-size:
10.0pt;font-family:"Trebuchet MS"'>This job would begin now (soon there will be
an announcement of a registration and information form and how to pay and
reserve, and the Registrar needs to be in place for this).<span
style='mso-spacerun:yes'> </span>The job would also continue up through and
during <span class=SpellE>OSonOSGoa</span>, as some people will be coming to
the event with final payments in hand. So you have to know you will be joining
us in September to receive these payments and process them.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face="Trebuchet MS"><span style='font-size:
10.0pt;font-family:"Trebuchet MS"'><o:p> </o:p></span></font></p>

class=SpellE>OSonOSGoa</span> will be able to accept credit card payments, but
to save Janet’s team the cost of transfers and wires, they will be
accepting payments through the Open Space Institute of the US’s account
– therefore a toll-free US telephone number must be called ongoing by the
Registrar to secure authorization for each credit card transaction.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
