(Real time OS internet conference to improve organizational learning)<BR><BR>And
now to the very interesting question regarding the "best" conference-time. Based
on the information that colleagues from Australia and from North America are
interested in this event we chose a "crazy" conference-time for us in Berlin.
Sorry, to all colleagues from Europe, Africa and some parts of Asia! But after a
good discussion in our team, we came to following result:</FONT><FONT
size=2><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000> </FONT></P></FONT><U><FONT

<P>ONE WORLD ... ONE REAL-TIME</U></FONT><FONT face="Times New Roman"
color=#000000 size=2> </FONT></STRONG><FONT face=Verdana color=#000080
size=2><BR>The mutual beginning of the conference will be <U><STRONG>in Berlin
(GMT +1h) at 01:00:00 a.m 2002-06-09</U></STRONG> (Sunday VERY early), this is
for example in Australia / Brisbane 09:00:00 a.m also on 2000-06-9
(Sunday-breakfast-time), and for example in USA / Chicago at 18:00:00 p.m. on
2002-06-08 (Saturday evening). The starting-time is the time when the
OpenSpace-Online® Conference will begin with all participants. Therefore each
person has to log-in in our virtual conference-center
<U><STRONG>earlier!!</U></STRONG> And in order do this, first you have to
install our conference-software on your computer, and you need also an access to
the internet. To this point later more.</P>
<P>Each time when we organized an Online-Conference with our system in the past,
it was exciting to realize that exactly at the same time the participants are
preparing last things (e.g. something to eat or to drink), and that all people
logged in and waited for the mutual start. Its every time again exciting. In the
past we had conferences which "takes place" at the same time in the USA, Canada
and in Europe. This time is our first conference where we are trying to "hold
space" for all continents. <BR><BR>We found in the internet a very easy and good
little tool (Time Zone Converter), where you can see your personal
conference-time very fast and simple. It is very important that everybody knows
his / her conference-time <U>and</U> also his/her date! Please use this tool. In
order to do this you have to fill in a new <STRONG>orientation-time</STRONG> and
the respective date in a field. The orientation-time for our conference next
weekend is <U><STRONG>"01:00:00 a.m 2002-06-09"</U></STRONG> . On the left side
please choose the respective time-zone: <U><STRONG>"Europe/Berlin"</U></STRONG>
and after this, please choose on the right side your Continent and your City.
After a click, you can see your time and your date! You don ´t have to think
about differences regarding the "Daylight Saving Time" ... this Time Zone
Converter works this automatically out. </FONT><FONT face=Verdana color=#000080
