This morning I heard from my young Palestinian friend. Her letter was a

gift, reminding me of how lucky I am, and how much work I have to do.

Perhaps it will do the same for you.<br><br>

"It's been a while since the last time I wrote to you , I apologize.

I miss talking to you and I find this eamil is not sufficient to express

how I feel, it frustrates me, so most of the time I decide not to write.

I volunteered to work with foreign press in the occupied territories all

this month as an assistant producer, where I did and saw things that

never did or saw in my whole life. unbelievably horrible that the human

mind can't absorb , I felt at times that I'm losing my sanity. For the

first time in my life I look at this conflict and feel sure that it will

never be solved. what happened there is so tragic that nobody can repair

or compensate. I've been very busy these days physically and mentally,

feeling down most of the time and can't find a way out of it. <br>

I resigned today from my new three month old job in Ramallah due to the

humiliation I go through every day at the checkpoint between Ramallah and

Jerusalem. I have to find one now in Jerusalem where at least I know I'll

come back home safe and sane."<br><br>
