<P>thanks for your quick feedback. please know, haiti is not for everyone. this past year, the UN ranked haiti, afghanistan and somalia as the "three hungriest countries in the world." with hunger comes crime and challenge, especially for visitors. one of the things that causes hunger to occur is an absence of infrastructure: telephones, running water, decent roads, electricity, etc.</P>
<P>as soon as anyone serious about coming to haiti begins reading state department reports and other information, one may opt to wait several years.</P>
<P>locally, we've determined that we need to organize an osonos, for haitians and ex-patriats in haiti. and, we've had people from other countries indicate that they would be interested in coming to haiti some time. thus, its an open invitation. frankly, i don't want the responsibility of large numbers of foreigners coming to haiti anytime soon.</P>
<P>but those determined, will come. and we will receive them, just as we receive about 50 to 60 hardy travelers a year, in groups of 6-8, as part of our transformational travel program.</P>
<P>does this help to make things clearer? let me know if i'm missing something.</P>
