in Sweden, I know that you have a lot to give and I am so glad that you shared
with this list. I can recognize much of what you spoke about being so
overwhelmed by all the wisdom, beauty and wonderfully well formulated emails,
especially this week. Asking myself if I have something of the same caliber
to share... </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>This is bit of a Swedish desease I believe, or a
myth that we need to disempower.</FONT></DIV>

since Sept 11, of which I have forwarded some to my friends in Sweden.

are involved in this situation worldwide. Today, as many of you might know who
are reading this list, we will hold 3 minutes silence all over Europe at

talking inside since I read you message. I was also touched by your sharing of
the overwhelming feeling you got when others responded. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV>I have until now been one of the silent readers of this list. It is so
scary to take the risk and step foreward, to step into the ring and show the
vulnurability. I sometimes think of it as a paradox that I, so concious of how
dangerous groups could be, have chosen to work with groups and again and again
taking that risks. </DIV>
<DIV>Thank you Julie Smith for what you said about us silent readers of the
list! That helped me to write this. And thank you Dr. Edith Kohn for what you
said about how difficult it could be to decide wether you had something to
share on this list. </DIV>
<DIV>You are all so well formulated, and you expresses so many deep, wise
thoughts and experiences. I have to fight the "who am I to..." and the inner
demand that it should be so very very important and clever and special
and... and... So, now I take the risk to talk in your presence, which I

years ago I was in a training for mediators called "Sustainable
Reconciliation in divided societies". </SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2><SPAN class=300031519-12092001>Participants
came from Chechenja, The Balcans, The African Great Lakes Region, Northern
Ireland, ... and a majority of people like me from the western
welfare societies. </SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2><SPAN class=300031519-12092001>One of the most
impacting learnings was that for reconciliation to take place, four voices
have to be heard and allowed to permeate all actions. Those are the voices
of Peace, Truth, Justice and Mercy. </SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2><SPAN class=300031519-12092001>In the media and
political speeches I hear the voice of Justice clear and loud, maybe
the whispers of Truth.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2><SPAN class=300031519-12092001>In this
list/space I can read what Mercy and Peace have to say.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2><SPAN class=300031519-12092001>Let´s keep the
space open so that all four can be expressed and acted in the same Space and
at the same Time.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2><SPAN class=300031519-12092001>I pray that
president Bush hears the four voices and allows them to permeate all the
actions that he will have to order.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

condoleances to all those that are directly affected by this terrorist
action and to all of us (and them whoever they are) that are
