with Harrison Owen</font></font></b></center>
<p>The Open Space training program that Harrison Owen and colleagues held
this year in Toronto will be transported to Ottawa in 2002 and for the
first time, will be offered in both French and English. More descriptive
information will soon be available but now you can at least mark your calendar
with the information that follows.
<p>Leaders and facilitators will want to know about Open Space because
it is a powerful approach for engaging people. It is used around the word
by thousands of organizations, from transnational corporations to governments
and community associations.
<p><u>For a taste of what’s coming up</u>:
<br>The 2001 Learning Journey on Open Space that was held in Toronto last
February and March was a tremendous success. There were participants from
Israel, Taiwan, Oregon, Ohio, Virginia, Quebec, New Brunswick, Newfoundland
and Ontario.
<p>An example of participants’ comments from the Introductory workshop:
"With all the examples and the support materials you gave us, I feel my
learning curve for the Open Space approach has been shortened by three
years."

Harrison Owen</font></font></b></center>
<p>Le programme de formation sur l’approche Forum ouvert (Open Space) offert
cette année par Harrison Owen et ses collègues à Toronto
sera transporté à Ottawa en 2002 et sera offert pour la première
fois en Français et en Anglais. Une description plus détaillée
du contenu suivra sous peu mais vous pouvez au moins noter à votre
calendrier les informations qui suivent.
<p>Leaders et facilitateurs voudront mieux connaître le Forum ouvert
parce que c’est une approche qui réussit à susciter un engagement
réel chez les gens. Elle est utilisée à travers
le monde par des milliers d’organisations à partir de compagnies
transnationales jusqu’aux gouvernements et aux associations communautaires.
<p><u>Un petit avant-goût de cette formation </u>: Exploration 2001,
programme de formation sur l’approche Forum ouvert qui s’est déroulé
à Toronto en février et mars de cette année a été
un immense succès. Il y avait des participants de différentes
provenances : Israël, Taiwan, Oregon, Ohio, Virginie, Québec,
Nouveau Brunswick, Terre-Neuve et Ontario.
<p>Une participante de la Partie Introduction a déclaré :
« Avec tous les exemples et le matériel d’appui que vous nous
avez fournis, il me semble que ma courbe d’apprentissage pour l’approche
Forum ouvert a été raccourcie de trois ans. »
