[OSList] WOSonOS 2005 Nova Scotia - do you remember

When?  When what?  There was a gathering in 1990 or there about when Harrison was in Melbourne Australia.  It certainly included others who were from our International community of ICA.  The idea of WOS on Os had not been borne then (I was going to say conceived).  Clearly the idea of a global community Opening Space was was lurking around as Harrison’s “Sprit” was written.  I think it is fair to say that the event called WOSonOS emerged in the early to mid 90’s.  Nova Scotia, is a clear recollection as it was a part of Canada that as a family we fell in love with on or visit in the early 1980’s.  Education and job starts for my family were a higher priority for any disposable income for me at that time so, I enjoyed the stories but the various WOSonOSs became a blur until Marysville.  Not much help in exact times but my comments may reflect some of thinking through the 80s and early 90s.  It is amazing how it has matured into the event it now is and the many long friendships that have resulted through those travelling, sometimes well outside their comfort zones, to be part of and take responsibility for, the conversations, ideas and suggestions that have developed during and after these events.
