Dear Sue,
One great way I learned about OST was finding someone more experienced and being an assistant for some times.
Years back, when I followed Michael M Pannwitz around for three months, I learned a lot.
So additional to any course you could take, you could offer another experienced facilitator to help them?
Thinking back, I chose Michael M (cudos to you) very consciously, as he didn’t do shortcuts I saw some other facilitators make.
(some did Future Search, World Café, AI, OST etc, and sometimes mixed them up, which I didn’t appreciate).
He was very clear about the impact each aspect of OST had, and what would be lost by changing it.
What a great opportunity to openly say:
Thank you, Michael M Pannwitz, for that opportunity to be an OST apprentice !
( And I still have your OST material box :-) )
With Love, Marai
