[OSList] Success stories of Open Space events with large groups

Dear OSList Members,

we are holding an internal Sales conference this year and are looking at using one of the days for an "open space" event for our global Sales team (approx. 1000 people). Initially we're looking for reference quotes, success stories and case studies from other corporations who have had results from similar events.
We'd happy if you would share your corporate stories with us if you have had a similar event of this size?
