Yes it is a good question! Thank you David.
My thoughts are that one of the needed elements in Open Space is an
urgent question/theme. This provides the reason/energy/necessity of
change. The question could be about threats - like a "burning platform".
I know many consultants or managers who create a burning platform - to
mee it's sort of "scaring people to change". But the question in open
space often hold a sort of vision/wishes for the future - and if they
are attractive enough to get people to join, then they are also prepared
