Dear Meredith,

you will not believe this: Its exactly the same as doing an os-event
with 100 or any other size...

All you need to adjust for is the number of folks attending, the number
of breakout spaces needed, the amount of food, the number of toilets,
how many copying machines if you want to do a traditional
documentation... and it only takes 1 facilitator (in the case at hand,
see below, we had two because they insited on having it in two
languages) and a fairly large team (not counting cooks, personnel for
the toilets, catering...)

To give you some visual impression of the one HO and humble me
facilitated for 2108 folks in Würzburg in beertents on a huge plaza,
look here

This was produced by one of the participants and a seasoned hand in
facilitating os-events, Erich Kolenaty

For me it was angstfull at a diffeent level but when it started it
seemed to be the most selfmangaged and easy event I ever was involved
in. In face, it needed to be selfmanaged considering that there is no
way you can pre-set a structure... other than the circles (I think we
had 12 consecutive circles), an enormous bulletin board, etc.)

Enjoy your event!
And report on it on this grand LIST.

Greetings from Berlin

PS: If you are interested in the really nitty-gritty, the role of task
cards, etc. call me.
