A few days ago, a friend from Bangladesh told me about the following ancient Indian principles of spirituality.

I was struck by how similar these principles are to the principles of Open Space Technology (in parentheses).

1. Every Person you encounter is the right one. (Whoever comes is the right people.)
2. Whatever has happened, is the only thing that could have happened. (Whatever happens is the only thing that could have, be prepared to be surprised!)
3. Each moment in which something begins is the right moment. (Whenever it starts is the right time.)
4. What is Over is Over. (When it’s over, it’s over.)
5. Nothing is permanent.
