[OSList] What is Open Space?

Well I personally design a form of participant-driven documentation into *any* dialogic process. Because it is more than the moments of talking. It is also about reflection, learning what all the other groups talked about (knowledge sharing across the system), integrating one’s experiences, having a resource to go back to over time whenever needed (to re-group for task work or call a topic-specific group back together), to network and so on. So in Open Space that is often (when possible) the Book of Proceedings, sometimes (say in a very short Open Space) another different way of knowledge capture - whatever supports all that stuff.

However I would not say that if there is no documentation it is not (fill in the blank: Open Space, World Cafe, an inquiry circle, etc.).
