Hi Anne-Béatrice,

Your event sounds challenging and interesting, and a good match for Open
Space.

You say "The duration for the planned event is 3h30 and there will be a
shared meal before it. It really seems shortto me for an Open Space. "

You also say: "what can be realistically achieved in 3h30 by a group of
people that mostly don't know each other and would like to have some
consensual concrete next steps at the end of the afternoon. "

Given the situation as described:
"...I have also understood that the situation is tense, because some
cantons in Switzerland are going towards forbiding Homeschooling."

...and...given the desire to have "Articles of the non-profit", with
"group of people that mostly don't know each other" etc, you might want
to consider a 2-day event.

A 2-day event includes time for everyone to sleep on it" and can more
likely address many of the challenges the group is facinf. It may also
help the group with it's wider intention to (perhaps) create a formal
organization. A 3h30 minute event is probably way too short a time to
achieve these goals. That's my guess...

Do you have more questions about the subject of time?

Daniel
