[OSList] the serendipity machine

Hi everybody,

I like the idea of  Open Space as the prototype of public space as a
serendipity machine. By doing Ost , people   experience  a concept of
 space that opens to unexpected conversations and knowledge exchange and
that should enter the way all the public institutions, starting from
schools should work.
I am going to offer this idea in a workshop organized by the association
"Maestri di strada" (teaching in the streets)  and paid by the Italian
Ministry of Education, which starts on October 11th in Naples and is going
to touch 5 more Italian towns with 90 teachers in each. The idea is : to
fight against the drop out-phenomenon  and to have schools adequate to the
digital era, schools must be serendipity spaces and Ost is a way to reach
this goal.
