[OSList] Agile and Open Space meet in Paris

Dear Open Space friends,

Maybe you followed the conversation here with Dan Mezik, Suzanne, Harold
and many others.So you may have understood that something was on it's way
out. So it is !
It's my pleasure to invite you  in Paris  to connect the Agile and Open
Space communities and best know each other. Of course we'll open space ;-)

collaboration inexploitées ?

Chacun sait ou devine combien l’autre exerce une influence forte et
positive dans le monde des organisations et même au-delà.  Que de possibles
! Mais sont-ils complètement explorés et exploités entre nous ? Quelles
sont les réserves de passion, d’engagement et de créativité que nous
pouvons contribuer ensemble à faire émerger dans les entreprises ?

A l’occasion de la venue de praticiens de différents pays et horizons, si
on en profitait pour mieux se connaitre, dialoguer, et explorer ensemble en
Forum Ouvert ? Nous en avons conclu c’était le bon moment, d’autant plus
que plusieurs d’entre eux sont déjà convaincus et engagés dans cette
direction.

Agile and Open Space

Dear friends and colleagues, practitioners of Open Space, Agile, Scrum
Masters and Stoos Connect members,

Imagine a leisurely Sunday afternoon; we’re together among friends and
colleagues from near and far. All of us have a deep desire to make a
meaningful difference in the world.

That’s what we had in mind when we decided to host a get-together prior to
the Global Scrum Paris 2013 gathering that starts Monday September 23rd to
Wednesday September 25th, 2013, which will bring together Scrum
practitioners from around the world.

It all came together with great spontaneity and enthusiasm. Our team in
France decided to host our friends from the US, Canada, Serbia and England:
Dan Mezick, Suzanne Daigle, Jasmina Nikolic and Karl Royle.  Everyone is
absolutely delighted.

Here’s the theme for our gathering:
Agile and Open Space:  What is the untapped potential for collaboration?

We each appreciate the strong and positive influence that the other brings
to the workplace and beyond. So many opportunities!  But have we fully
explored and ignited what’s possible between us?  What passion, creativity
and levels of engagement are there waiting to emerge that we can we bring
to organizations?

Why not take advantage of having practitioners from different sectors and
parts of the world by having an Open Space where we can get to know each
other better, talk, share and explore! We felt the timing was right, even
more knowing that many attending this global conference are already fully
engaged and committed to the theme we are proposing.
