[OSList] WOSONOS attractions!

dear kerry... i have to chuckle here, and can't resist saying... in
your excitement this almost sounds like a really great "conference"
event... two great keynoters, three important tracks on opening space
in the arts, environment, and public sector, with some first-rate
entertainment in the evenings. but of course we know there isn't any
such plan! :-)

it may or may not be the best osonos ever, but it's almost certain to
be the year's largest and most diverse gathering of some of the most
open-space-passionate practitioners and learners on the planet. it'll
be like no osonos ever before and it can never be replicated in all
the fantastic ways it'll happen this year. there will be many of the
smiling faces and huggable hearts that belong to people whose names
have been seen on this list. and there will be other amazing people
we never met or imagined. everyone there will be most interested and
active and passionate about open space and many many related things.
there might be news coming out online, but it can never replace being
fully present.

the osonos gatherings i've been part of have been some of the best
open space learnings and connectings and fun i've ever had. i think
anyone who has any real interest or passion for open space practice
will find much to do and learn and many good people to know at this
20th(?) world convening.

i wish i could make it this year. i'm thinking now that since i can't
be in london for the big event, i might just have to convene a small
simultaneous breakout somewhere between here (chicago) and milwaukee,
with our old friend sheila isakson. she and i hosted osonos7 in
chicago, back in the days when two people and one day of planning work
was pretty much all it took to make an osonos. :-)

safe travels to all who are lucky enough to be london-bound and thanks
for whatever stories you can share. thanks, too, to all the folks
helping to keep our os and osonos practices going.

michael

p.s. phelim... if any of this is useful in the way of invitation, as
you requested earlier, take whatever you like, for the website or
elsewhere.
