Christine in Arizona and all in this wonderful community.

What a joy it was working on this project. Never could we have guessed when
Christine of Paris invited us to this project that it would take this long.
And yet, the late nights, the figuring out how to get together working in
different time zones with everyone's schedules, the chaos, the confusion as
we used Google doc, drop box, mind mapping, macs and microsoft, Skype and
the rest... well it was exhilarating and yes frustrating too.

In the end, it all came together and there were so many joyous moments with
deep bonds of friendship being formed, and so much laughter along the way.
Today, it is as much about the intention and the journey as the actual
product. We all passionately believe that *companies *are *communities *need
better ways of doing and being. Open Space invites so much starting with
the joy and rewards of work...that work can be fun, productive and
meaningful.

Hopefully this book will be the beginning of a great journey, in many
languages that invites Open Space to the workplace more and more!

Of course the bonus for me was having Emily St. Pierre, my young niece,
film Harrison in Washington. They hit it off right away as I knew they
would. Today she is working on a project with another Open Space in
Germany...now how cool is that!

While we were a relatively small team of authors, it always felt that this
wonderful OS list community was there with us every step of the way. Love
and laughter was inspired by all of you opening, holding and closing space
every day! Thank you for celebrating with us today.

Suzanne
