[OSList] How to prepare to be surprised?

indeed, that´s what I mean
»be surprised how well you are actually prepared to that what happens  
to you«
Seen from the backside:
What happens to me makes evident that I´m prepared to it. Otherwise it  
wood not happen to me.

It´s sometimes hard work to agree.
Actually we are are prepared to a huge lot more than we now.
