We're living in a time of global open space. April Spring is but one - there are many more. If these gatherings can occur without a controlling steering committee or being co opted
by authorities, good stuff can happen.
I think it is important to spread the word - the media has been fairly silent until the cop was busted spraying mace in the face of a non violent women who was attacked for no cause -

spaceniki, geetings!
many of us have followed with interest, inspired by the mass peaceful mobilizations in egypt and elsewhere. and most of us probably know that taking a cue perhaps from our mideastern brothers and sisters from across the Great Pond, that an Occupy Wall Street movement has started in New York. The reporting almost says "open space" all over it...
some of the words i've seen:
meet in an open space
hold space for....
self-organizing
leaderless...
i've never been a fan on demonstrations and the like, but i have a funny feeling about this one, a sense that it's important to support it...
support/solidarity initiatives are springing up around the the us and internationally...
