Dear All

 

Thank you dearly for your comments. I didn't mean to offend anybody, being
51 myself. Most of the Grey Panther people are over 70, and still very
active. Just so you don't get the impression the Swiss all retire with 55
and then become fatalist. :-) (Our official retirement age is 65.)

 

However, my friend Rita who recommended me there did well in telling me her
concerns, because I got so many wonderful replies from you all and now know
what to pay special attention to. THANK YOU!

 

I'm now very much looking forward to meeting with the board of the Grey
Panters of north-western Switzerland on Tuesday, feeling reassured and ready
to answer their questions.

hello dear Chris... I just couldn't let your comment go unnoticed - 

I am someone over 55, I can frequently handle more than an hour and a half
of open space! Sometimes I stay all day and come back for more on the next
day. In fact, I have been known to lead the os process! :0)

I am glad to read that you haven't had problems with people over 55
either... let me know, for goodness sake, if I ever am a problem for you!
