London 2012

Hi All,

Following on from Phelim's email I just wanted to add my own brief P.s.

Firstly a big thanks to all for your support around my making the
London invitation - an edge to step over.

Also I wanted to say that I am sorry I had to leave before the end of
the closing circle and so missed out on the grand finale of the
process, and the celebration, and also on saying my goodbyes to many
of you. This then is a goodbye with a view to the hellos to come.

Seconding Phelim's excitement I want to say that we are starting the
process of planning that world-sized circle (whilst hearing the sound
advice from Harrison and Chris on not doing too much- ah, the fine art
of hosting!) so any one that knows of any reason not to come London-
wards in 2012 "Speak now or forever hold your peace." A friend of
mine from Ireland told me that when he was little a sandwich was
called a 'piece' so whenever he heard those lines in the marriage
ceremony he thought it meant that if you stayed quiet at that moment,
when there was something you needed to say, you would be doomed to
hold your sandwich forever without eating it. So, you have been warned
- eternal sandwich-holding for anyone who stays silent when they need
to speak.

Love

Matilda x
