esther, because of how gmail handles mail, you will never "receive" your
message back from the list.  at least you'll never "see" it come in.  gmail
doesn't display two copies of the same message.  so you'll only see it in
your sent mail.  totally a function of gmail (and perhaps some other
sevices) and nothing to do with the list or whether or not it was
distributed properly.  m
