Fremy - Knowing that you are doing what you are doing gives me great pride
and hope. Opening space anywhere is a plus - but opening space in the
fragile environment of the new Haiti is essential. The basic resource of
renewal is of course the human spirit, and our spirit grows deeper and
stronger when we are in meaningful conversation with our fellows. But of
course you know all that! Good luck and God Bless - and please keep us

Dear Open Space collegues,

 

In Haiti, there will be from june 24th to 27th  the 8th annual meeting of
Open Space. 
The theme of this meeting is: 

 

What is the role of leaders and community organizations in the
reconstruction of a new Haiti, based on the promotion of progress and social
justice?

 

As you know, Haiti needs more and more reflexion after the earthquake. Open
Space is the best way to facilitate an environment of respect for
participation and dialogue.
