...and this is the note that was returned to me from the LISTSERV:

"Your message dated Sat, 06 Mar 2010 09:25:09 +0100 with subject "Re: 
did you get  lisa's original  message?"  has been  successfully 
distributed to  the OSLIST list (651 recipients)."


Seems that the settings dont provide the choice to have both the 
confirmation and the message sent to me...I opted for the confirmation 
and it works like a charm...seems the list is growing...

THanks for sharing Chris - maybe I should try the law of two mukluks - would
probably work over here too;-) - that way it OST becomes more exotic...for
southern Swedes anyway.

Regarding the OSLIST challenges - I think  I always get a confirmation that
I sent a message + usually it comes to me too. I will let you know how it
goes this time...
