Open Space for a Community Supported Agriculture project

Jamie - Have fun! And if you aren't, clearly you are working too hard. To
start just take a deep breath (several will be better) then sit in a circle,
create a bulletin board, open a market place and get out of the way so
everybody can get to work. I find it helps to remember that you are not
doing anything - certainly not "running" a process. The process is hardwired
into each of us and has been there for millennia. To be sure you have the
privilege of announcing the moment of departure and inviting everybody to do
what they do quite naturally. Beyond that - the people will take care of the
business. Just sit back and enjoy. Can be a little difficult on the ego of
an up and coming facilitator - but there you are. You will know that
everything is working perfectly (always does) when you hear some laughter
and the people have totally forgotten who you are - or even "That" you are.

Subject: Re: Open Space for a Community Supported Agriculture project

Hi Everyone,

I am running a open space on the Sunday 15th August in Bath and require some
help. This will be the first open space I would have run having only done a
full day workshop on it. I feel happy being able to hold a space and winging
it to a certain extent and would really appreciate some support in the guise
of a co facilitator if anyone is near Bath or feels like this is something
they could help me with. The project is a CSA and Transition Bath have just
secured a year memorandum of understanding for a 6.5 acre piece of land on
which to build community around this project with the aim of a long lease on
low rent if it works. My aim is to see what is there in the community on the
day and where it could go.

My details are below so please feel free to give me any tips or offers of
support.

Many thanks
