No direct experience – although I have been advocating it as a process to
sort out the politician’s expenses fiasco here in the UK. Sadly my
suggestions fell on deaf ears. But this is a great initiative and I wish you
well. (Of course, I would love to know which political party have decided to
deploy Open Space in the way that you describe...!)

I suspect that warming people up to the process will help – there may well
be quite a few fragile political egos which might get bruised!

Very best wishes

Jon

Subject: Open Space and political parties

I have been approached by a political party to use open space in their
policy development process both inside the party and with the general
public. If anyone has any experience with this and any wisdom to share it
would be appreciated. I have always wanted to use OS in this kind of
environment. Has anyone done work of this nature and if so is there any
advice?
