Pat - I don't know whether Gabriela would be interested, but she and her
people have already developed a most elegant virtual Open Space. Called, as
you might expect OpenSpace-Online.

Subject: 'virtual' OS for global conference on arts & social justice, S.
Africa, March '10?

The deadline for session proposals has just been extended to Nov 15th for a
global conference on art & social change, March 21-24, 2010, in
Durban,S.Africa

They invite 'innovative' session formats - and I'm thinking that an Open
Space focused either around the conference's core purpose or one of the
sub-themes (see below) would be an invaluable contribution to the
bottom-line goal of intercultural dialogue and action plans for addressing
the UN Millennium Goals.

One of the formats they mention as possible is a "virtual session". They
also now considering making the whole conference accessible via podcasts,
webstreaming and/or other technological aids.

Anyone interested in taking on setting up an OS that folks around the world
can participate in?

Basic conference info:
