thanks for the question. this is not a direct answer to your question-
perhaps this post should have a different subject line. 

is collective leadership within people or is it within someone/something else?

might a sustained choice-creating conversation (the space between people) be
the collective leadership itself? and, if so, what is necessary for that
conversation? which brings us back again, perhaps, to noticing and the circle?
