More coaching on Maestro - December 9 @ 5pm pst

Louisette Ness will be facilitating a coaching call with the Maestro
system tomorrow, Wednesday December 9 at 5pm Pacific time. There's no
charge for the call except for what you pay your phone company to dial in.

This is an introductory call to the idea of coaching. Those who continue
with this small group will be reading the book "Co-Active Coaching"
together, practice coaching each other using coaching triads on Maestro,
and more. This is a relevant and important skill for successful Open
Space facilitators, as well as any one who wants to be successful
convening sessions or assisting organizations through change efforts. It
is certainly a step beyond the "Heroic" phase of leadership, and into
the "Catalyst" phase.

If you want to check it out, please register at this URL and your
participation PIN will be emailed to you.

P.S. This seems like a wonderful offering that Lou is making - if you
know of anyone who might benefit from some training on how to be a
coach/facilitator - will you please forward this to them. We have a few
slots open at this time for the class. Thank you!

Subject: [OSLIST] The Circular Logic of the Universe - NY times

For us who have discovered the magic of the "circle", I thought you'd enjoy
this wonderful article featured on the front page of today's (December 8th)
Science Section of the New York Times written by Natalie Angier, science
writer and Pulitzer prize winner. The article celebrates the work of Russian
master Vasily Kandinsky and his love affair with the circle.

The words truly dance off the page in a way that captures our imagination,
connecting arts and science, depicting concepts and themes that somehow feel
familiar with Harrison's writing and our practice of Open Space. Certainly
worth a read.

Hopefully you can connect to one of these links:
