So if you want to know what happened in the last seven days in Belfast here's a little summary........I hope you like it.......

A reading from the book of proceedings, according to Harrison

In the beginning Michael & Jo created the Open Space. Now the earth was open-spaceless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of Open Space was hovering over the waters.
And Michael & Jo said, "Open Space," and there was Open Space. Michael & Jo saw that the Open Space was good, and they separated the light from the darkness. Michael & Jo called the light "Open Space", and the darkness they called "Passion". And there was evening, and there was morning--the first day.  Michael & Jo said, “Now that we have created the first day, do not be surprised but be prepared to be surprised.”

And Michael & Jo said, "Let there be butterflies and bumblebees between the waters to separate the conveners from the convened." So Michael & Jo made the butterflies and bees and separated the conveners and the convened under the Facilitators Dance from the sky above it. And it was so. Michael & Jo called the expanse "passion". And there was evening, and there was morning--the second day.  Michael and Jo said “Now that we have created the second day, do not be surprised when it starts, whenever it starts is the right time.”

And Michael & Jo said, "Let the passion under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear." And it was so. Michael & Jo called the dry ground "Connswater", and the gathered people he called "participants". And Michael & Jo saw that it was good. Then Michael & Jo said, "Let the participants produce ideas: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various passions." And it was so. Connswater produced vegetation: plants bearing seed, seeds bearing passion, passion according to their kinds and trees bearing passion fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And Michael & Jo saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning--the third day.  Michael and Jo said “Now that we have created the third day, do not be surprised what has happened because whatever happens is the only thing that could have happened.” 

And Michael & Jo said, "Let there be Networks in the expanse of the sky to separate the passion from those who do not yet share passion, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, and let them be Open Space Facilitators in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth." And it was so. Michael & Jo made two great lights—a circle of chairs to govern the day and communities to govern the night. He also made the stars – they were two little ladies who made copius amounts of tea and coffee. Michael & Jo set the circle in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth, to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And Michael & Jo saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning--the fourth day.  Michael and Jo said “Now that we have created the fourth day, do not be surprised at who comes because whoever comes is the right people.”

And Michael & Jo said, "Let the circle teem with living creatures, and let butterflies and the bumblebees fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky." So Michael & Jo created the great creatures of the circle and every living and moving thing with which the circle teems, according to their kinds, and every facilitator according to its kind. And Michael & Jo saw that it was good. Michael & Jo blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the circle with networks, and let the butterflies and bumblebees increase on the earth." And there was evening, and there was morning--the fifth day.  Michael and Jo said “Now that we have created the fifth day, do not be surprised because it’s not over.  When it’s not over it’s not over”

And Michael & Jo said, "Let connswater produce living creatures, who from this day forth will be known as Spacers, Open Spacers and let connswater produce living creatures according to their kinds: creatures that move along the ground, create communities, set up networks, write task cards, read books of proceedings, sit in circles, convene meetings, dance the facilitators dance, draw symbols, chime bells, sit in silence, eat from the buffet, construct pin boards and perfect the art of putting pins in the pin boards….and let their be wild animals who do all of this but with passion, each according to its kind." And it was so. Michael & Jo made the living creatures and wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the open space according to their kinds. And Michael & Jo saw that it was good.  Michael and Jo said “Now that we have created the sixth day, do not be surprised if it’s over.  Because when it’s over it’s over”

Then Michael & Jo said, "Let us make facilitators in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the open space and the bumblebees and butterflies of the air, over the communities that we have created, over all the networks, and over all the spacers that move along the ground." 

So Michael & Jo created facilitators in their own image, in the image of Michael & Jo they created them – although it’s should be pointed out at this stage that it’s not compulsory to have a pony tail or wear a beard; Michael and Jo created male and female facilitators……and filled them with passion…..again it should be pointed out at this stage that too much passion and facilitators may end creating their own little network of baby facilitators. 

Michael & Jo said onto the facilitators them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the spacers of the sea and the bumblebees and the butterflies of the air and over every spacer that moves on the open space.  But be careful how much you move over the open space – you need to remember your carbon footprint"

Then Michael & Jo said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole open space and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the bumblebees and butterflies of the air and all the spacers that move on the ground--everything that has the breath of life in it--I give everyone a buffet for food." And it was so.
Michael & Jo saw all that they had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning--the sixth day. Michael and Jo said “Now that we have created the sixth day, do not be surprised if this is not the end.  Because that is the law of the two feet.”

Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. By the seventh day Michael & Jo had finished the work they had been doing and looked forward to moving to the next open space where they will coincidentally meet 150 Catholic singles in Vienna – I’m free for that training if you need some help - and Michael turned to Jo and said can you believe this – we actually get paid for this???; so on the seventh day they rested from their work. And Michael & Jo decreed that the seventh day would be holy and it would be a day of rest – well all except for those who had to sit in lots of traffic on the way out of Belfast….and so on the seventh day they rested……and the journey to find a new sponsor had begun again…….…
