Dear Harrison,

I am extremely grateful for your response. Your descriptions of OST reassure
me that it is the best way to achieve my aim: guidelines for environmental
education with a multicultural approach, produced by diverse stakeholders
(environmental educators from the various sectors in Israel, and other
stakeholders).

The issue of the environment is so complex and perceptions regarding the
environment are so charged and often surprising, with striking differences
and similarities across cultures, particularly in a country with indigenous
people, various minorities, and a crowded holy land.

Therefore I feel that the openness, spaciousness and technology of OST can
create the right ground for producing guidelines that will reflect all the
above in the context of education.

I thank you very very much for your informative answers and for the
references.

very best wishes,
Maya.
