Connecting in Singapore?

Dear Christine!
Well, always start with the world map
> http://www.openspaceworldmap.org/

I know, Singapore is hard to find, it is tiny.
Use the zoom.
Go to Malaysia.
At the tip of Malaysia there is a small dot.
Thats Singapore.
There are 4 grand osnicks listed.
And if you meet more there, invite them to join the world map so it gets
easier to get in touch next time round.
Greetings from Berlin
mmp

[Hello, folks - I am posting this for Ms. Karen Sella, current Poet =
Laureate
of the OSLIST. She is having trouble accessing the list so I am sending
this to you on her behalf. She'll jump into the conversation if her =
recent
attempt at rejoining and accessing the list has worked. **NOTE** =
because
of this - send your poems directly to Karen at karen at luminacoaching.com
(even if you decide to post them on the list as well). Thank you! I =
am
really excited about helping Karen launch our little poetry boat out =
into
the waters again to see what lovely words float back to us all... - Lisa
Heft]

=20

Greetings, Dear Colleagues,

=20

Our Lisa Heft was kind enough to remind me that it is indeed time =
(really,
past time but she was too nice to say that:-)) for another poetry =
contest. =20

=20

A little history, from Chris Corrigan:

=20

"For all those who might be curious, the OSLIST Biannual Restricted Form
Poetry Contest started in the spring of 2000 when I issued the challenge =
to
the list. Ralph Copleman actually began the whole thing with a contest =
in
the fall of 1999 (which I won) and so he is the "Poetry King" for all =
time.
I just claimed the "Poet Laureate" title in an effort to have some fun. =
It
was something of a one martini idea, and I was out of gin at the =
time..."

=20

As is our tradition, every 6 months or so we select our next Poet =
Laureate
through this contest, and then they float up and hold space for poetry =
for
about 6 months. They invite poetry, and / or write poetry, and / or =
just
b-r-e-a-t-h-e and hold s p a c e for poetry on our fair list. So all =
those
inspired, I invite you to create a poem and be prepared to be surprised =
for
the possibility of being chosen as our next Poet Laureate. =20

=20

Poems may be submitted to me off list. The deadline for poetry =
submissions
for this contest is February 28, 2008. After that date, all submissions
will be published to the list and poems will be judged by the standard
voting process of all those on the OSLIST who wish to vote. The author =
of
the poem that attracts the majority of votes will become our next Poet
Laureate, which includes the honor of holding space for Open Space =
poetry
for our list for the next 6 months.

=20

=20

OUR TOPIC FOR THIS CONTEST:=20

=20

The personal, inner experience of Open Space-the open space within the
unbounded expanse of heart and mind. *If you write your poem in your own
language which may not be English, please do add a translation in =
English,
thank you.* =20

=20

OUR DEADLINE:=20

=20

Please send your poems to me by February 28th at midnight (Pacific =
Standard
/ West Coast USA Time). My direct email is
<mailto:karen at luminacoaching.com> karen at luminacoaching.com.

=20

Looking forward to the muses and musings.

=20

With love and light,
