Hi--

There were two threads
A-running through
Our conversations here
One about the mushrooms old
And one not openspace so dear
Along comes Emily Dickinson
To remind us they--and we--are one--

They talk as slow as Legends grow
No mushroom is their mind
But foliage of sterility
Too stolid for the wind--

They laugh as wise as Plots of Wit
Predestined to unfold
The point with bland prevision
Portentously untold.

I wax poetic thinking of school principals who fear for their own
control and our desire to open as much space as possible for the wholing
of the world....
