Harrison,

very interesting that open space is already in Europe, Thank you for confirming that for me..
I thought It was only really in The United States and Canada.
I had a thought about major corporate organisations like Microsoft for example using open Space.
And thought wow what a different world we our planet could be.
Entire Governments using open Space.

I hope one day that may happen.

I am very into Open Space and I think that it could really change things on a big global scale.
if things were not just DECIDED and things could be discussed and brought up in topics on agenda boards.

Niko – I would guess that there are very few places in the world, particularly large cities, where space had not been opened. In Italy, our good friend Gerardo de Luzenberger has not only been opening space but training a bunch of folks to do the same. He is also bringing out an Italian translation of the User’s Guide. I think you could pretty well go around the world visiting Open Space colleagues. Might be fun!

Thank you Ralph! I think we call all that a blinding flash of the obvious – certainly for me in Rome and subsequently.

Now, after 17 years of opening space, probably hundreds of times, including this past weekend, I think I’m beginning to get it.Thanks, H, for your re-telling of the story of that final day in Rome. I’ve read your accounts of that event many times, and I always thought what you did that day was brilliant. Now I recognize that it was not brilliant at all (sorry) but merely richly in keeping with the true heart and nature of genuinely open space. So, when in or opening space, I can now tell myself, when things get tricky, open up the space even more. Which is what you did. You followed the truth of what you knew and when things became challenging stayed with it. Only deeper. Thanks for the valuable lesson. Maybe I’m ready now.Ralph Copleman
