Thank you Thomas and Stanley for your encouraging words.

You are plowing ahead in similar ways and with obvious passion. It's a great privilege and pleasure to do this work with OS isn't it and it is so good to hear from colleagues who are in the same boat.

Best wishes on your journey too.

Diane

  WOW, Diane

Thanks for sharing the energizing information about the development in Quebec! Way to go!

Next week Eva P Svensson and myself will facilitate an OST training here in West Sweden, not so many signed up yet, probably 5 people but they come from 3 countries which is great - Finland, Norway and Sweden and apart from that also represent a great diversity - like mostly. But first we´re going to Norway tomorrow to meet our collegues to do some development work around OST/Genuine Contact and to plan trainings for the year to come.

Best regards & Good luck to you all over there

  Thomas

When it starts is the right time.

The evolution of Open Space in Quebec is certainly following that OS principle. For 10 years, a few people from Quebec would join the annual OS training either in French or in English in Ottawa or Toronto. In the new year leadership emerged in Montreal Quebec and within 3 weeks, 20 people had signed up for an OS learning workshop in French.

Whoever shows up is the right people. Again, the principle showed its truth. People had an affinity with the values and principles of OS and quickly felt the deep potential of this approach ...beyond the method.

On the second day, the key organizer had a special meeting with his organization's decision makers and convinced them to hold two Open Space events, 200 and 350 people. Two other participants sent out an invitation the next week for an OS event on Creativity and Management for the end of April in Montreal.

On the evening of day-2, three OS consultant facilitators from the area and a number of workshop participants met in a somewhat impromptu Stammtisch. The energy just spread like wild fire and two weeks later, a conference call was held among half a dozen people intent on building a French OS community in Quebec and connecting with other French OS people and communities in the world.

You will soon hear about an international OSonOS in French to be held in automn in one of Quebec's natural treasure sites.

Things are not only brewing, they're perking ! It's so uplifting and rewarding to see OS doing it's magic.
