microphones

I'm a fan of using microphones even in settings that seem too small. It
depends on a number of factors, including room acoustics and intimacy, but
in general people who are hard of hearing rarely self-identify and people
who think they have a good natural voice projection rarely do. Walking
around the circle and talking is a challenge for those that can't hear well,
so I make sure I have a mic for most groups I work with, and especially if
there are going to be any seniors or Elders in the room.
Cheers,
Chris
