Eva -- I have had the same experience. Point is folks need to do what they
need to do, and if it works -- great! With a small group all sorts of
possibilities emerge. And they usually do!

Subject: The power of freedom

Hi all!
Last day I had a short Open Space session in the middle of an ordinary
workshop and something happened that I had never experienced before:
There where 13 participants and 2 timeslots on 1h each, 6 issues raised.
When they looked at the agenda they realized that it should be hard to
choose where to go, so one participants said -"Hey, why don't we
change the time - she said we were in charge!" So they decided to
devide one timeslot into two and have 2 half hours instead!
Of course that was OK and they all agreed - but this have never happened
before and I just can't stop thinking about what have happened if there
had been a larger crowd and say for example a 1 or 2 day event and they
had started to re-schedule the entire design...
That I guess is an example of both whatever happen and be prepare to be
surprise and no freedom shock there - merely experience the power of
freedom!
All the best and greeting from Stockholm where I am at the moment - with
blue sky and warm August- sun!
:o)
Eva
