Hello, Ms. Eva --

[I am renaming this message to fit with your question - 'What is a
Interfaith or a faith'? I know the word faith but have trouble to
understand the context here....]

Thank you for reminding us of the words we may use that may not be
universally understood.

I think some of the inviters of the Bay Area and Beyond Cafe can better
explain what their invitation is to - and you might also look in the
archives at the message Gail posted for me - my reply to Alan's
announcement about that.

However, I will take a try at 'interfaith' and 'faith' in context of an
event such as the one I mentioned - the North American Interfaith
Conference.

'Interfaith' is a word used in the States (perhaps elsewhere?) to imply
people of different, diverse faiths (spiritual or religious beliefs)
joining together to build connections of service and understanding. And
usually, these people are peace and justice activists as well. Interfaith
organizations tend to work on such things as advocacy for policy for
religious freedom, freedom from violence, service to the poor, education,
outreach and awareness-raising to reduce discrimination or inter-group
conflict, and so on.

So: a gathering of such people.

Ask me a million questions, lovely Eva,

Lisa

Hello, Thomas -

[Thomas requested dates of OST trainings in late September - early October
in the US for a colleague who will be traveling there.]

My next San Francisco date for the Open Space Learning Workshop is
December 19-22. Just in case the dates for your colleague shift.

The September date for our monthly breakfast gathering of facilitators -
"Fabulous Facilitators" - which I host at my home in the San Francisco Bay
Area - may be September 24 (date to be finalized) - so if they are
interested in having a lovely morning of conversation with fellow
facilitators about all things facilitation (Open Space and otherwise)
please feel free to have them contact me...

Chris and all--

Fields work...
Hosting...
living in open space...

You seem to have these evocative phrases swimming about you, Chris.
Would you be so kind as to wax a little more poetic about them, put some
more meat on the bones? They are, I think, getting to the heart of the
question that started this thread....

			:- Doug.
