thank you Thomas, yes you should come to Turkey another time.
As Jo Toepfer; after spending few days in Istanbul traffic, had said:
"an army of facilitators are needed here".
thanks and have wonderful time at your space openings

Wishing you all the best for this marvellous gathering. I decided to keep my travels to a minimum the rest of this year as I´ve lots of space opening coming up and I´ve been travelling a lot (right now sitting In Brussels on my way home from Raleigh). I´m sure I will see you another time in Turkey, Funda.
Best wishes & warmest regards
Thomas Herrmann

Dear OSlisters,
We are organizing the 3rd International Gathering on Interactive Organizations in Istanbul on Nov. 24-26, Istanbul
with Michael Pannwitz and Jo Toepfer.
To see the invitation letter please click : www.acikalanteknolojisi.com
The main issue will be :
How do we want our organizations to be?
How to create good, even better organizations?
I want to say that the invitation letter is a product of a very collaborative and interactive
process of 4 months that involved many friends from os world and also
outside. I thank all of you: lisa, juliane n., thomas, pepe, mmpannwitz, birgitt, lada, gail, jo, dominik, avner
carol, jaime, my cousins, my mother, and many other friends.
I wanted to invite 4 Open Spacers from different continents
for this meeting :
The reason for this is that i needed more support introducing open space
to potential participants in Istanbul so that it's easily welcomed and accepted
and then spread.
I chose 4 names in many other names whose approach and explanations were convincing
and clarifying for me
Lisa Heft, Michael Herman, Juan Luis and Mirza Yawar were these 4 people.
Lisa says it would be tiring for her to travel such a long distance for the time being.
Yawar is trying to arrange to come.
Juan Luis thinks that it would be a dream to come to Istanbul and participate in IAO,
and i would like to make it possible
We are in dialogue with M. Herman, discussing the ways to make it possible.
There is another reason to my dream of this powerful introduction of OST in this region:
The fact that Harrison will be in Istanbul in April and i am trying to figure out
if i (we) can organize a meaningful OST event around a juicy and conflicting issue
which might bring some transformation to our world.
Any ideas about my above mentioned questions and concerns?
Moreover those who want to participate the gathering are more then welcomed. Please
check www.dertur.com.tr for registry, accomodation and touristic information.
Please spread the word.
Thanks,
Funda
