Body knows before Brain

Hi Andrew,
I think I do know an exercise, but have little time this week to
write about it.
In Ortho-Bionomy, the gentle bodywork I practise, I work with
reflexes that travel to the spine, but not necessarily to the brain.
(That part of my work simply involves supporting part of the body in
a position of comfort for a few seconds.)
Yet the body responds by releasing tension in specific areas.
The exercise is safe to do, but a little 'indirect' in showing what
goes on.
Not something you can really feel only going to your spine, probably.
It might not be what you mean.
Please let me know if you want more info later.
Cheers,
Allison
(On a clear, warm, wintery day in Clifton Springs, S-E Oz)

Hi, Raffi and others -

=20

For those of you who have not yet been to one, typically, towards the =
end of
an annual international OSonOS, the group welcomes whomever feels =
inspired
to stand up and invite the OSonOS to their country for the next year.

=20

(I say this full knowing that whomever stands up has thought about it =
quite
a bit and has conferred with their colleagues to agree if they have the
passion and wish to take on the responsibility of hosting, *then* they =
or
their delegate(s) at the OSonOS stand up and make the invitation to the
gathered participants - often at home there is a whole team of people =
ready
to team together to do the work for and support the vessel that is the
OSonOS).

=20

So here is what I remember: at OSonOS Halifax 2005, Tova Averbuch =
invited
the OS community to Israel for OSonOS 2007.

=20

Eddie Palmer and Kerry Napuk had offered Edinburgh, Scotland as a
possibility for '06 - I'm not sure if they also want to be considered =
for
'07 as well.

=20

And I planted the seed for OSonOS to come to the San Francisco Bay Area =
in
2008.

=20

(of course, wherever you live, dear readers, host and invite to any =
OSonOS
gathering you wish to construct, and whoever comes and all that - there =
is
room for everything - we now have lovely OSonOSs in various parts of the
world during the same year and many of them include international
participants)

=20

Did I remember correctly, my colleagues?

=20

Lisa
