New Year's gift for you

Hi All

... from a beleagured, bewildered and bemused Far East, where the internet connections have 
virtually all been severed by an 'act of God' that nobody had predicted. 

To say that we cannot savour the reportedly delectable gifts of Chris and others until 
damaged cables offf the coast of Taiwan are repaired and the internet connections to the 
lands where the sun comes up first in the morning are restored. 

Fortunately we here in the Orient are not totally isolated in that [some] email is still operating, 
albeit very slowly. 

And to indicate that there are potentially fascinating developments on the wind with a remarkable
idea which I mentioned a couple of months ago Re: What 2084 could be like if more attention
was paid to making it happen

OST and the World Cafe may be brought to bear on at least one dimension of the project now evolving ...

I would add just briefly for now that I have found Raffi's reminder of the significance of 'remembering' 
to be very useful as a guiding thought in diverse contexts.
