Hi out there - maybe it is time for a Swedish lesson around here :)
Eric started that out really fine! I have not heard about "vår bröd" but we
do have something called "skådebröd" (try to say that in Swedish :)) that is
something you bake up without intention to eat it - it is more of an art
object - to look at.

The Swedish Finn in me needs to respond to this.
Språngbräda does mean trampoline or springboard.
Springbread, if it exists outside of Michael's vivid, although in this 
case, crumby, imagination, might be
vårbröd.
