Stammitsch in NYC

Dear Laurence,
great news.
We were 8 in Berlin.
One of the reasons to have it on the first Monday of every odd month
is that you can join a stammtisch if you are anywhere near one,
easy to remember.
Also, stammtische connect. While we were meeting in Berlin the
stammtisch from Bratislava called, it was their first with 17 folks
(an os training going on there).
In Berlin, we kept looking at our watches speculating whether you
guys in New York were meeting yet (we stayed till midnite, which is
about 8 pm or 7pm in New York).
And we had - as has happened several times before - a visitor from
another city (Düsseldorf).
Have a look at
http://www.openspaceworldmap.org/
and click on stammtische in the upper right hand corner,
I think there are 15 now with new ones establishing themselves.
In a way, its once facet of our community.
Next time I travel to New York I will make sure that there is a first
Monday of an odd month in my trip.

Greetings from Berlin
mmp
