New York City Open Space Stammtisch ("tribe table")

Dear friends,

November 7 is the first monday in an odd month, a date chosen by people
interested in Open Space all over the world for regional gatherings know
as OPEN SPACE STAMMTISCH.

"Stammtisch" is German and can be translated as "tribe table" = a defined
date and place where people come together regularly; people who share an
interest or just people who like to hang out together. "Salon" is a close
translation. Go to http://www.openspaceworldmap.org than click
on "stammtisch" in the upper corner on the right side for more on the idea.

Michael M Pannwitz started this initiative in Berlin with the vision of
open space people all over the world meeting on the same day every two
months - and by now already 13 "open space stammtisch"-meetings have been
founded. New York will be the fourteenth !!

A nice group met in September for the first New York Stammtisch (thanks to
Marei). Now we're trying to make it continue. Our September location was
a bit too noisy. It's not easy to find a gathering place that has food
and drink AND room for a bunch of people to take up lots of space. Maybe
we can find one for next time.

For now, we have space at the office of the American Friends Service
Committee at East 15th Street in Manhattan. Please bring a snack or drink
(no alcohol allowed in the Friends building).

If you are interested in open space AND live in the New York City area OR
you happen to be there on November 7th OR you don't mind traveling a long
distance to meet with us - please note this date in your agenda !!

Of course the same principles apply as in every Open Space session: If you
planed to come and then you run into something else which is more
interesting for you in that special moment - your passion leads the way to
where you benefit and contribute most.

If you are new to Open Space, visit http://www.openspaceworld.org/.

See you there!
