After the OST event...

I was involved with their meetings for nine months after the OS--don't know
what happened after that.   Most of the organization had excitement and
positive feelings about the OS, so I'm sure it has influenced the way they work.
But they already, pre-OS, had a norm of involving lots of people in their
decision-making process.   The design for the new facility was actually chosen, from
three sketches presented by the architect, on the recommendation of a 12-year
old Girl Scout who served on the Design Team for three years!   She was
acknowledged at their ribbon-cutting ceremony.   They take seriously the task of
growing girls into leaders!
